I dont think I've ever seen a movie that made me think "wow, this movie was written by a computer" more than Black Adam.

And I've seen Black widow.

Just got back from seeing it. I liked it a lot. The plot was a little underwhelming, but it was standard for an introduction movie.

The action was badass. The couple of musical montages had me fully enthralled, and the effects of his lightning were sick.

I loved Adam's characterization. He was a badass from beginning to end, without any of that "turning a new leaf" shit they usually throw into antihero/villain movies. Apart from that brief moment of realistic regret for almost killing the people he was protecting, and a few nods to the people who helped him, he's an unapologetic ass-kicker, and I love that.

Hyped as fuck for the future of DC movies, now.

Definitely awesome, I counted that as one of the musical montages cause of Paint It Black playing. I think my theater's sound mixing was a little off, so I'm looking forward to watching it all over again when it's on HBO Max, with headphones turned all the way up lol

I thought it could have used a better music track. I didn't really get the connection between the song and the scene besides the word "Black"

My favorite scene in the whole movie is this part:

When Hawkman attempts to interrupt the trade for the crown of Sabbac for Amon's life, Black Adam preempts him and is like "Not your country. Not your son. Not your decision."
