Lol I went into this topic to say I used to love their quesadilla burgers. Last time I went to Applebees though (probably like 5 or so years ago), they didn't have them anymore. Could have just been the one location though.

Nobody wants to go to Applebee's.

I haven't been in an Applebees since the 90s.

I do quite enjoy their tendies.

I've only been a few times and wasn't impressed. One was Elvis and 50s style shit all over the walls and it was just the worst.

I have one within walking distance but I haven't been yet

Overly sappy and effectively made it seem like a picture at a chain restaurant was a definitive honor for a coach with decades of experience that had just retired.

Easily the most mediocre of the fast casual sports bar conglomerates imo

applebees is the restaurant version of microwavable dinners at the supermarket

but hey, sometimes thats what you want.

I went about 2 weeks ago as there wasn't shit in the city we stopped at for the night. Worst shit ever.

This, but 2004, two girls brought me there in high school. It was as mid and bland as I expected and I never went back.

I was there last night and it was an option i settled on but it was better then I thought.

Burger quesdilla, an order of wings, a cocktail Bahama mama drink , and an appetizer of pretzel breadstick things with cheese sauce all came out to he $35 including $5 tip. Not bad for two people (we shared everything and was stuffed)

I like Applebee's but honestly if I went blindfolded I couldn't tell the difference between it and a chili's.

They did have good wing specials that beat the other chains iirc though.

Awful, awful food. Paying a premium for microwaved food is not something I have any interest in.

To each their own. I feel they're overpriced, bland, and I've never been to one where they brought me my food at a temp other then lukewarm. I'll take Sizzler, Chili's, or Ruby Tuesday over Applebee's any day of the week.

Chilis gives you so much food, its outrageous. If you get the 2 for $20 thats like four meals and a snack.

Only good thing they ever had is the blondie. It's a place for lame parents and cheap middle aged men who day drink

There was an Applebee's very close to where I used to work, and I usually went there afterwards for dinner. Maybe 2-3 times a week. Always sat at the bar, and had nice conversations with the bartender as well as other diners.

Applebees is one of the absolute grossest restaurants

You guys are crazy. We went to our local Applebees tonight and our entire check for a family of 5 was $55 plus tip and we even got an appetizer (Apparently Tuesday is "Kid's Night" so that helped!). The food is definitely average but It's not bad.

If I was by myself and wanted to go and drink and watch sports Applebees is a good option, as well. $3 house margaritas and $2 PBR pints is damn cheap.
