Or the politicians who are passing the anti-trans bills. What Kanye said is horrible but I am wondering why havent the anti-trans crowd gotten the same backlash and loss of sponsorships. Some of these politicans are even passing laws that ban trans people from sports.

Racism is a lot less politically correct than transphobia, sadly.

Worth pointing out that there's about a many transgender people globally as Jewish people. We literally just want to live our lives yet there's no shortage of people spreading lies and other hateful things about us. :(

Look at the positions of power held between the two groups. Speaking ill of Jewish people has real tangible consequences -- Nick Cannon got a call from Viacom (I think) after he said what he said.

How do you cancel her though? Harry Potter has a lot of diehard fans. Warner Bros isnt going to drop the license, and Universal isnt going to close down the park. Someone would have to buy the franchise rights from her then stop buying whatever future work she releases. Youd be punishing the fans by shunning Harry Potter.

Because Jewish injustices are far more widely known and understood, not only domestically but also internationally due to multiple countries involvement in the world war. It has gravity to it, and the Jewish community didn't really have much victimhood or complaints about their conditions, so more people were more willing to give reparations or aid them in rebuilding what they lost, even from countries that were not apart of the Axis.

I mean, their injustices are so felt that you have other groups trying to call their own situations "holocausts", appropriating the pain of that awful, awful event. This is especially bad because:

1.) Almost 100% of the time, they have no idea WHY it was called the Holocaust in the first place; they just think it's solely "mass genocide" without understanding the historical context.
2.) By being so ready to appropriate this event, they unintentionally broadcast how much more vile it was.
3.) They unintentionally downplay their own cause to historians or people wanting to hear their case, because again: they don't understand historical context behind the word.

But I think the real problem is that there's no real unity of information to give regarding the trans community. Most of what you hear or read are anger and anecdotal evidence regarding injustices without solidarity in presenting those injustices. While anecdotal evidence is all fine and good, let's be real: if that's most of what you have, or what you THINK is gonna happen to you, that is incredibly weak evidence.
Where's the historical figures? Where's the significant events?
Like... all my time browsing the trans communities of Reddit, Youtube, etc...
Why have I never seen a single person mention Christine Jorgensen?
Why have I never seen a single person mention Roberta Cowell?
Angela Morley?
Joseph Lobdell?
Why in the HELL does no one mention Marsha P. Johnson, who spearheaded what is now considered to be the LGBTQ+ equivalent to the black civil rights movement???
And then these people and events, modern or otherwise, are forgotten in two or three weeks and they're right back to square 1. Treated like trivia on the back of a cereal box rather than the goldmine of information to latch onto.
Oh, but I bet you they know who Blair White and Keffals (ugh) are. Clearly Keffals did more for the trans community than the aforementioned who legitimately changed people's minds, in far more unaccepting times to boot.

The trans community is dreadful at promoting themselves in a way that's both not selfish and apprehensive, despite a plethora of history to fall back on. If they want that to change, they have to learn that a movement is built on "we", not "me".
