Apple NEVER does things that their customers want unless they're forced to. Instead they dictate to their audience that this is what they want and that it only matters once THEY'VE done it. Based Europe forcing them to do something for the consumers for once To be fair the last time the EU said "you're doing this shit," it just resulted in Apple releasing micro USB-to-Lightning converters. If anything the regulation just put MORE money in Apple's pocket. Though I'm pretty sure this time around they've been told the phone must integrate support on the body itself, not through a secondary converter.
