That'd be mighty hilarious if it happens, but I'm not remotely expecting it.

Here's hoping that there's a large subset of fundamentalists that can only barely read down there and they can't bring themselves to vote for a DeSatans over a Christ.

I did my part to vote against him on Tuesday.

I do too but it feels unlikely. I don't think Crist has made any real effort to push back against DeSantis's campaign.

If you decide to hold your breath and you want to go for a personal record, you can extend your time by hyperventilating a little bit first to sort of saturate yourself with oxygen, but don't overdo it. Be careful. Too much hyperventilating can induce a seizure. That happened to me once. Thankfully I was sitting down. It was only for a few seconds but my buddies looked mortified and I was like "what the fuck just happened?" and they were like "you had a seizure." It was a strange experience. We were watching the movie 3:10 to Yuma and when it happened and I started to feel lightheaded, my brain kinda like... melted into the movie and I had this dissociative micro-dream inside of whatever scene was happening at that moment and I was then out of it just as quickly as I went into it. Kinda scared me a little bit. I haven't tried to hold my breath for time since then. I had before then, and I had used the hyperventilation technique but had done it properly instead of going overboard. It does work though if you do it properly and safely. Normally I can hold my breath for around a minute. With proper hyperventilation, I've gone 2 and a half to 3 minutes.

I don't you didn't mean it literally, and DeSantis fucking sucks, but your post reminded me of this story so I decided to share it.

But the Florida ID had the name of the town as on just south of me in Upstate NY.

Crist used to be a Republican. How could people actually vote for someone who changes their political party whenever it is convenient?

Anyone that wants America to be better will want republicans to lose.

Unfortunately, the Florida Democratic Party is a collection of petty political fiefdoms and grifters who are ill-suited to winning anything, is my understanding.
But the voters still pretty much do what they want LOL. Charlie Crist, at least, has a lot of experience in handling electoral defeat with decorum and grace.

Edit: I edited my post for additional clarity: I meant to refer to the Florida State Democratic Party specifically.
