I think Pomu is the only one I've watched full streams of but that's mostly 'cause of Metal Gear (though Pomu is plenty of fun to watch play wahtever). I do occasionally pop in to watch live but not too often. Mostly various clips (similarly to Pomu I have watched a bunch of Pekora because of Metal Gear). I enjoy when they're being fun or having fun but all the fawning that people send them is weird and definitely off putting. I'd say that ASMR relies pretty heavily on feelings of intimacy, which isn't necessarily sexual on its own, but there's a lot of overlap between the concepts and heterosexual men in particular are generally going to feel more comfortable settling into that intimate setting with a female voice. I mean, if gamefaqs were use my real name and photo, i'd rather not post on boards.
