i would disown that grandma without hesitation honestly, whether it comes off as cold or not. it would be very difficult for me to hold back how hurt and upset such comments would make me, and someone who would say such abhorrent things doesn't really make a good family member --- fly away, fly high... to the birds, this is freedom!~ ...
