FaultyCircuitry 10/30/22 9:48:01 AM #2:	I never got the combat complaints about TW3. It was fucking miserable in the first game, fine in the second, but thought it was legitimately good in 3. It is an overwhelmingly large game at times though so I do get that. It's just one of those things where it's okay (often great compared to TW2) and, because the game is expansive and you can play it for 200 hours, things just wear a bit. But my biggest complaint regarding the combat is the rubbish levelling curve. It was the same in The Witcher 2. Starts out kinda difficult, and about half way through the challenge is just gone. Regardless of difficulty level. Ratchetrockon 10/30/22 2:25:21 PM #18:	I've tried to beat it 3 diff times. Accumulated 200 hours playing it in total. I could never get too far in the game tbh. I usually quit once I complete many of the side quests and then feel too burnt out to try the main story . Furthest I got for the main quest was solving the ugly baby mystery and some change. Never even got to try the dlc stuff DoesntMatter posted... i'd bet that most of the people who say they don't like 3's combat have never played 1 or 2. definitely not 1. I beat witcher 2 on Xbox 360. Tbh I prefer it over witcher 3 because it is much shorter. I never did do the alternate route tho. I think it was with the dragonslayer. I remember just joining the guy who wears blue clothes. I forgot his name. Witcher 1 I tried to play a year or two ago. It really sucks and I quit after an hour. --- I'm a Taurus I like collecting headphones and iems.
