Fall used to be my favourite - I liked that it wasn't as hot and all the leaves everywhere

But as I get older I like Spring more, it's also not as hot but all the melt is nice and there's baby animals everywhere

I think I have reasons to like and dislike them all, so overall I no longer have a preference, even though I would prefer summer and despise winter if I was just judging the seasons themselves and not my own situation during them.

I used to like summer when I was little. Dont think I need to explain why.

Nowadays, autumn has the nicest weather. Not unbearably hot, but not freezing either and very often it comes with a very pleasant breeze on most days.

The only problem is the massive increase in deer, at least up here in New York.

Spring and especially summer as a kid. I practically lived in the pool each summer. I have never been on a diving board as good as our low board there :(. Now I think I like fall best.

Not really, fall has always been my favorite since it's warm into cold.

Nope; it's been Spring as long as I can remember having a favorite season. Mild temperatures, new growth, and a lot of storms, which I love.

Autumn has always been my favourite and still is. My worse? Summer.

I used to like Summer when I was younger because of summer break; but I always disliked the heat.

After school, Fall was always my favorite because of the weather. Usually about the first 3 weeks of October there are half a dozen "perfect" days.

Summer when I was a little kid. Then Fall/Winter since they are kind of the same season where I live.

Nah, always been Fall. Finally stops being so hot, college football is back, baseball playoffs and all the good video games come out.

Most of my life I lived in the Bay Area in CA, so there was no real different between the seasons weather wise. When I was young and still in school, summer then was the best lol, but that was only between 11 and 16 so not much of my life.

After I graduated summer didn't have that advantage and it would get over 90 sometimes even in the Bay, so my favorite season switched to fall and into the start of winter due to so many days off, my birthday being in there, my anniversary etc.

Literally every month has multiple holidays from Nov-Jan or did at least (and October has halloween which was always fun).

So for most of my adult life Fall into winter was my favorite.

Now I live in WA though and we actually have winter here. Even though it's hot I prefer spring-summer the most, there is little rain so I can drive around more, and usually the temps are not too bad (especially in spring).

In winter here I actually get snowed in, and can be unable to go anywhere for months (last year it was Dec 25th through early Feb. This year I am parking my car at the top of the long hill here, even though it's a long hike up there, so I can always get out if I need to (will make getting groceries a pain, but better then not getting out at all and having them delivered to the top of the hill).

Now I hate winter, dislike the start of spring and end of fall, and like the rest (so about 1/2 the year basically).

California is expensive as hell, but you basically get wonderful weather year round. I miss that almost as much as the amazing food options.

In terms of weather, I've always preferred autumn/fall (and still do).

When I was younger you could make a case for summer being my favorite (because it meant no school), but even then I hated the heat.

Spring is my favorite. New leaves, baby animals, flowers. And rain! I guess as a kid I probably would have said summer (no school).

Mine hasn't changed.

As a kid and young adult, I enjoyed summer because of the time off from school and hated winter because of the cold. Now that I'm working and in my mid 30's, I hate how hot the summer is and would rather bundle up duirng cold winters and sweat during the humid heat of summer.

Winter used to be my favorite season when I lived in California. It was cool and rainy, and even though it was winter, it was always green.

After moving to Nebraska I have come to detest winter. It's cold and snowy, and everything is brown and gray.

Now I think I prefer spring. It's warmer, but not yet hot, and everything is starting to turn green but the weeds haven't become an issue yet.

I'm having trouble deciding if season 7 or 8 of South Park is my favorite now.

No, its still fall. Mostly my opinon of summer's gone down. Summer kinda sucks when you don't get two-three months of vacation.

I enjoy summer activities, however I vastly enjoy the ambiance of winter the most. Love cold settings, minus the snow.

loved summer as a kid for obvious reasons.

fall's always been consistently the favorite though, i think. the weather and general aesthetic is perfect, even if it only lasts for like 2 weeks anymore.

True that. Or worry about frost heave.

And if you live somewhere with significant snow you probably don't like spring, as it's a long sloppy mess where you can do, if anything, even less outside than in winter.

Summer is fine, but it has to be fall. Hasn't changed.

We don't get much of a spring around here. It just stays wintry, but just barely warm enough to rain instead of snow, then pretty abruptly becomes summer. By the time we're done with both snow winter and rain winter, I'm pretty done with winter.

You're a Canadian, right? Aren't March and much of April just a sloppy mess? Or do you just perceive winter lasting through April? Orr...are you a 'coastal' Canadian? :)

Here in MN it's frozen/cold through February. In March we get a lot of snow, but there start to be melt days mixed in so it's icy/sloppy/nasty snow. Then in April it's just muddy/sloppy/worthless. In late April there's a chance of doing something active outside, but I wouldn't count on it.

they ARE a sloppy mess (I'm a mountain dude, right on the rocks about an hour out of Banff)

Summer. My hatred for winter has only grown as I got older. I wouldn't mind winter if we didn't get below -20C all the time for 6 straight months.

It's always been fall but I'm upset that it keeps getting shorter and more erratic with climate change

Used to be spring, but my favorite's winter now because my allergies aren't as terrible in the winter.
