Kinda forgot that the standalone single-plot episodes were actually better than anything connected to the main storyline --- The Phantom has spoken! ... Copied to Clipboard!

[LFAQs-redacted-quote] Some of the very early episodes are definitely dated...but I feel that beginning midway through the 2nd season or so it still holds up surprisingly well --- The Phantom has spoken! ... Copied to Clipboard!

After that most of the MOTW seem to be too reliant on humor. Like they tried too hard to expand on the success of the Jose Chung and Humbug episodes...which are great episodes btw, but I'm on season 7 now and XCops is great but the show is losing its touch overall at this point --- The Phantom has spoken! ... Ice has to be mentioned. Its basically a nod to The Thing. Great episode. Also when the show moves to LA is when it tends to nosedive a bit. --- 'We're not gonna make it, are we? People i mean.' 'It's in your nature to destroy yourselves.' ... Copied to Clipboard!

Yeah it's becoming a bit of a chore to drudge through it at this point but it's like, I have to since I made it this far. I want to get through the recent reboot seasons too I know what's going to happen already so maybe Robert Patrick and Annabeth Gish will breathe new life into it for me, trying to approach it with as little bias as possible. --- The Phantom has spoken! ... A lot of the MOTW episodes are pretty good, yeah, but the mytharc stuff is a little hit-or-miss. Some of my faves. Some of my faves overall: Humbug, Paper Hearts, Our Town, Jose Chung's From Outer Space, Squeeze, etc. That episode with the Irish (?) firestarter guy sticks out, too, for some reason. --- Take me down from the ridge where the summer ends And watch the city spread out just like a jet's flame ...
