If the creator could get voice actors that speak English, Russian, and Japanese well they could. What most dub lovers don't want to admit is that they were first exposed to the product via the awful dubs so that's what their used to and think nothing can be better. ssjevot 11/02/22 10:59:35 AM #59:	Not sure if I count since I live in Japan and use Japanese in my daily life at home and work (I only use English online and when talking to family back in America), but the average quality of voice acting in Japan is better. Mainly because the actors are paid a lot more, directors are present, they're practicing lines before the take, the other actors are also in the room, it's a much bigger deal, and big name voice actors are celebrities on TV shows and with popular YouTube channels. It's similar to how Hollywood actors are so good because the industry attracts the best talent, pays them well, and has amazing support staff that direct them. A lot of English voice actors are working for barely any money and can't be bothered to do much more than read lines in a booth because that's all they expect them to do anyway. They remove jokes that they feel won't resonate with western audiences and a lot of lines are shortened or changed to make the audio match with the lip movements. There are definitely some English VA's that really knock their performance out of the park though. This same group is then caught between actually being true to their word or being a stupid japanophile that will swap to japanese voices regardless, thus being hypocrites. Resident evil, devil may cry, kingdom hearts for example, all of these series was created only having english voices. (Kingdom hearts 1 did not get japanese voices until the final mix release. Square-enix then made the initial japanese release of kingdom hearts 2 with JP voices, and went right back to english only with KH2 final mix most likely from the japanese fans who prefer to play the game in it's original intended dub).
