Christ almighty, what's even the point for this one? At least with the dislike removal, there's a reason, albeit a dumb one, but why viewing from oldest to newest?

They're directly appealing to a perceived audience of children who preoccupy themselves with scrolling through Shorts. They want people to be as constantly engaged with content as possible and a simple way of keeping people engaged and attentive is to bombard them with new content.

Well I guess now it's waiting for another app to fix this problem as well.. yay.

The reason they gave was that it was "the least used option" and "too expensive" to keep around. I am not joking.

I love how they just slowly take away the stuff I've used for like 17 years now. I can't tell ya how often I go on my old subscriptions for a night of nostalgia, but I'm not gonna scroll for 20 minutes to do that crap now.
