They capture the bad guy and start questioning him but then theyre like we cant kill him because thats a warcrime and torturing him would be sooo bad so we gotta let him go as if the US military doesnt disappear people on the regular. Oh, and this is after they just massacred literally hundreds of mexican military soldiers to get to him

Yeah that moment was really fucked up. Especially since he was known to be connected to a terror group, so it would have been easy to find a legal way to take him.

Then later crossing the border illegally and running from the cops, all of it is somehow okay. It screams "we wrote ourselves into a wall, so maybe?"
