ive been saying TikTok is Chinese spyware / malware for years and refuse to install it on my devices.

I feel like breaking news about TikTok being spyware comes out every few months and yet nothing ever changes.

This should have happened like a year ago when that one software engineer discovered that tiktok embeds key logging code into a website if you visit it with the in-app browser, regardless of what website you're visiting. It's straight up spyware.

We have known this for over a year now. Pretty much everyone in the cybersecurity community has been raising red flags constantly but no one has been listening

Tiktok is pure cultural degeneracy mainlined into the public consciousness and banning it was one of the few good ideas Trump had (even if it was for a wrong reason)

I'd like to see Tiktok banned solely for the amount of cringe that app produces.

In any case, Biden invited TikTok influencers to the White House last week, so I don't think it will be removed any time soon, if at all.
