I am playing normal Skyrim and the people just look horrible in 2022. Are there any good mods that make people not low horrible. Not looking for anything lewd or anything like that. Just something tasteful.

High poly head. Someone posted a topic with it recently. Great head.

for NPCs:
bijin warmaidens/wives
pandorable replacers
froztee's "reimagined" series for specific NPCs (serana, etc.)
coldsun is relatively new, not really my style but they're popular
modpocalypse NPCs
or just search a particular NPC name and youll see replacers pop up

make sure to check requirements, and most rely on your skin textures so results may vary from the screenshots

for player characters:

ks hairdos or apachii skyhair for new hairs
i think theres a newer one called holidaygift but i havent used it
high poly vanilla hair for better vanilla hairs (replaces NPCs too)

for skins the two most popular right now are realore and bnp (bits and pieces)
bijin skin and tempered skins also good
beast hhbb if you play khajiit or argonian
masculine/feminine khajiit textures for khajiit skins

for eyes
eyes of beauty is what i use, kala eyes is popular too
skyrim ultimate eye meshes remastered

for body/head
high poly head is great
cbbe or unp for female bodies
xpm32 skeleton
expressive facegen morphs
expressive facial animation male/female

for making characters
i use race menu extended
theres also enhanced character edit and charmers of the reach but i haven't used either of them

Thanks for that list, I be honest the characters have always been hard to look at. But with some of the mods fans have made. It as been amazing .

I see there's a mod to give bosmer characters antlers. Should probably pick that one up, too.

theres a sharp teeth for bosmer mod too iirc
