I refuse to accept this as a valid opinion, regardless of when you were born. No sane PR fan would rank MMPR at the bottom.

i grew up with mighty morphin loved it as a kid but the franchise grew beyond it

it has flat characters no real over arching plot and super in your face with moral of the week stuff

oh and the constant shilling for the mighty morphin era has soured me on it more

as i HATE nostalgia pandering

I can agree with this. Saban forgets that other seasons exist. Some of which are utterly amazing and have a massive fan following.
A good example is the Lightning Series figures and toys.
Sure I have Saba and the White Ranger helmet.
But they've not done really any morphers, helmets, or weapons outside of MMPR and its very frustrating.

I watched a few episodes of RyuSoulger in Japanese and loved it.
I wish they had kept some of the darker themes, but it's on my watch list.

Wild Force literally made me quit Power Rangers until I saw the Thunder Rangers in a promo for Ninja Storm. Everyone is so unlikable in Wild Force.

Oh, I don't doubt it. I've seen some clips from Dino Fury that made it appealing to me. Definitely gonna check it out one of these days, especially since they're actually bringing back the same cast for Cosmic Fury. I definitely think it'll do the franchise some good to have some familiar faces stick around from season to season, even if the crew isn't entirely the same (like how they did throughout the Zordon era).

I feel like Time Force and In Space is 1A and 1B with RPM and SPD is just under.
