At around 12 weeks the doc told us that she thought it was a boy (but stressed that she couldn't say for sure yet) but then a few weeks later she was all "nah it's a girl fo sho". I wasnt in the the room during the test, but we do have 3 male pets. well probably hold off on buying stuff for a few more weeks until the anatomy scan confirms. Until finally I came up with a name we both liked. Naomi. The original name I wanted to use (for like 14 years) I didn't get to use because it belonged to the sister of one of my partner's closest friends who died when they were in middle school. And the friend always said she'd name her daughter after her sister if she has one. My partner thought it'd be weird if there were 2 babies in the mix with the same name.
