i remember when my wife was pregnant, i always tried to put my ear on her belly and listen for signs of life lol.

then of course, by month 7-8 when he was kicking and punching and karate chopping his way around in there, it was just fucking scary lmao.

It will all be worth it then. I dont show emotions outwardly very often, but I sobbed uncontrollably when my first child was born. I was a bit more composed for the second one.

Have you felt baby move or kick yet? That is so amazing when they do. You just can feel them squirming in there all the time in the later stages and they feel so much more part of you its surreal.

Its amazing how much you can love them before you meet them. And when you do it solidifies that love even more. You and your wife are in for something really incredible.

Any plans to build a nursery for the baby?

Haven't felt much yet. But the ultrasounds are all good.

And we're going to have a baby room. Haven't made it yet though. I don't want anyone to see me breastfeeding (gender stuff) so it's going to be a private room for me and the baby.

Really not the topic for this shit.

Not all pregnancies and births are 100% perfect clear cut, and seeing as TC already has gender stuff complicating it I feel not being realistic about the issues that may happen is disrespectful.

If youre due in May its probably still early but man when you feel it youre going to love it. Also some babies hiccup in there.

Make sure you get yourself a nice reclining nursing chair. I love mine. Best purchase ever and I didnt even breastfeed.

@cleo_II I stopped binding my breasts when I got pregnant but because I never really wore traditional bras (that often at least) I have to get some. How often did you have to get new sizes throughout the pregnancy?

Yeah a reclining chair would be perfect for you then. We still use ours all the time. At first my husband thought it was a luxury that I got but its super useful and grows with them. Then it turns into you two snuggled on it as you read them books or hold them until they fall asleep.

Yes, if you're an anxious person that thinks of every possible scenario that could happen to your baby while you cant see them, then its a must. I sometimes just tried to feel their legs while driving just to check if they were all right.

Lol my wife is still like that with them, whereas I'm kind of more just let them learn and be there to comfort/support them if it goes sideways.

I think I bought bras around the halfway point. I shopped at aerie they have nice soft bras. They have these comfy sports bra that are stretchy so I mainly wore those. And got a couple of wireless bras for times I would need to dress up. I didnt need to keep sizing up

Oh yeah many years ago I went in Aerie. They have incredibly comfy clothes in general
