Pretty cool that these registries offer a discount on any item thats left on the list after your shower. Target and Amazon at least.

I got a 19 month old and a 3 month old.
Got our hands full.

Our 3 month old was unfortunately born with hypoplastic left heart. It was caught at the 20 week anatomy scan. He's had 1 of 3 required heart surgeries. He is doing very well all things considered!

I think we are definitely done at 2 though.

On our second round of IUI to get pregnant again. Took six attempts last time and our daughter was stillborn at 25 weeks, then my wife had to have some fibroids removed which meant we had to put off trying again for nearly a year.

Depressing stuff, but we're really optimistic this time since all of the previously unknown issues have been dealt with.

Just hoping the IUI doesn't take six tries again, it's like $1500-2000 a month and insurance doesn't cover it T_T

I cant wait to meet him, and watch his personality develop over time.

Fingers crossed for your little one, Ar0ge.

Im excited but also somewhat nervous about anything that may come up at the anatomy scan. But Im feeling good about it overall.

We got the baby brezza formula mixer. It was a splurge but so worth it when you strictly formula feed. Its like a little cappuccino maker where you just put all the powder in it and press a button. We used Similac but then there was a recall. Theres another company called Bobbie that does formula as a subscription but a bit pricey. But formula overall is very expensive. Costco has the Kirkland one that many say is great and its also a better cost, but my baby didnt take well to it.

We use Dr Browns bottles for reflux because she had a lot of that

That shit moves around a lot though while theyre coming through, I wouldnt worry.

Think about it in terms of tiny little jaw, adult sized teeth.

We were super worried bout our eldests teeth, and they seem to be coming into line more now.

Also, congratulations on almost reaching one of those parental milestones! Will the tooth fairy visit?

Be very careful. My older one had a ton of teeth like that. When the new tooth doesnt come in under the old tooth the root of the old tooth doesnt disintegrate so it may not get loose. Do not attempt to pull it yourself if it doesnt get loose. Some of them have really long roots. I had to pay a dentist to pull a bunch of my kids teeth because of this.

Ask other parents because kids do talk. I remember there was a bit of drama in the parent group when one kid got $20. It made the rest of the tooth fairies look cheap. I give my kids $5.

I was able to calm her down with some YouTube songs on my phone finally around 6 am. And now an hour later shes acting totally normal. I have no idea why she was screaming. As far as the actual formula goes, I assume there will be a bit of trial and error. Ive been hearing good things about this formula from UK that recently started being sold here. I think it was called Kendamill. Supposed to be healthy, all natural etc. may try that

on the subject of formula, ours has food sensitivities and is also picky so we finally found a formula that works for him after 8 months premade hypoallergenic formula thats $12/bottle

and he eats about a bottle per day

and they only carry it at target and Walmart, and both of those places have a 4-item limit on all formula (despite this formula only lasting a day vs a tub of powder meant to last weeks)

its all very frustrating/expensive

Also Im annoyed by my mom who feels the need to impose Disney crap on my kid. I dont have any Disney stuff around especially the princess stuff. If my daughter asks for it when shes older, sure. But I dont want to force it on her. My mom has made several comments about it like Im depriving her of it. She keeps buying her Disney shit and I hate it. And she knows it too. And I keep asking her to stop buying shit in general but its an obsession.

Sounds like hes doing great with food. She only started to get into it around 13 months or so but she also got a lot of teeth early on.
