It's really sad that most Americans haven't even tried Curry and it's one of the most delicious dishes you can eat, on par with sushi, cheeseburgers and pizza.

But anyway when it comes to Curry I think there's two gods of Curry.

Indian curry is probably king but Thai curry comes very close.

Favorite Indian curry is definitely Butter Chicken, and favorite Thai curry is Red Curry

I've also had a very delicious Malaysian Curry which is unlike anything in Google images and was like a fusion of Chinese chicken and vegetables and curry powder.

I've never had it so I can't talk it but Japanese Curry doesn't look that great. Maybe somebody else can illuminate us but it looks like pot roast with curry.

Steph used to live nearby.

The edible kind makes me sick. For real; I think I have an intolerance.

It's basically just gravy on whatever you want. You can get it with what is basically a pot roast, but it can be stuff like pork cutlets and whatnot.

As for my favorite... I don't know, a lot of the time it's based pretty hard on the location. Khasi ko Jhol Masu (a generic Nepalese goat/mutton curry), Kashmiri Masala, Karahai (sometimes Koyla), and Nihari are all ones that come to mind as potentially my favorite but it's kind of hard to really call one my favorite. There is also a Thai-style slow-cooked beef curry but with how many variations it potentially has while still being "generic" it's a bit hard to really put it on the list despite coming from what I would argue is my favorite restaurant.

There's an Indian restaurant literally across the street from me that I order from about once a week. I think the best I've had is lamb tikka masala.
