What's so bad about Roswell? Not saying your wrong, most of what I know about Roswell is the alien stuff and the low level professional baseball team lol.

I know crime is a big problem, but what's so bad about Roswell specifically compared to the rest of the State?

Roswell is zoned so bad, basically, there is only east and west zoning. It's like they hired the town drunk to do the zoning back in the late 1800's. The only thing going for Roswell is the Alien crap and NMMI. (A military institute). In Roswell, you are either rich or you are poor. There is no middle class. The rich people live up north past Country Club Road. South of 2nd Street, I wouldn't go walking around at night, it's that bad. Murder rate is at an all time high as well as Meth use. They passed the law where you have to have two or more people working convenience stores past 8 PM because a female clerk at an Alsups down the street where I lived was kidnapped, raped, and killed. I was robbed twice, as well as my house broken into in broad daylight, and my car broken into three times. The police has nothing better to do than to sit in their cars talking to each other.

Thats disappointing to hear. Granted Roswell was always going to be a day trip and not an extended stay, but still sucks to know its that bad.

Really? I was there in 2017 and from what I remember it was all super old people. Seemed like an amazing place to retire.
