Let me get this straight. A 10 foot tall monster busts through a brick wall like nothing. But then this 110 lb chick manages to stop it by turning over a 20 lb shelf in front of a door and then it roars in frustration.

Just beat RE 2 remake and thought it was fantastic. But this one looks like an Uwe Boll movie

RE 3 original really made you feel like he was stalking you. Scary/creepy.

R3make has him so over the top its funny.

They definitely dropped the ball with that remake. Cut content. Somehow making Nem worse.

And jills cussing is so bad its funny.

Nemesis 2020 was dumb as bricks and would make mistakes like in the opening cutscene where he knew Jill's hiding place, broke into her room, but then just stand there. Original Nemesis was also a failure in terms of potential, but Nemesis 2020 was more like the Apocalypse version.

I feel like RE never shyed away from game tropes. It feels on brand.

RE3 Remake was a short but entertaining game.
Just from the cut and paste design of the game, you knew not to take it too seriously or expect too much from it.

It probably would have been better received had it not quickly followed GotY RE2. It was so disappointing as a direct comparison.

I wonder if the voice actor for Carlos was amused when he opened his script and the first line for his character was "Hey fuckface!"
