I think it's nice not to have a depressing ending for once. I've had enough Last of Us-fueled disappointment for a while.

Kratos's character growth in this game was so well done. That scene between him and Freya was incredible. She and he both recognize each other's pain and suffering, and find a way to forgive each other in their own way.

yea, I just beat the game yesterday, and it was surprisingly emotional.

I'm also surprised it got me caring for an asshole like Thor, lol - the final mission with him and Atreus, as well as the other stuff around the character turned me around.

I really dug the writing in this game.

If nothing else, the actual story was miles ahead of the first reboot GoW.

Thor was amazing in the end. So was Freya. So was Kratos heh.
