HornedLion posted... Is it seasonal depression? Sorta but not really - the cold front is a contributing factor, but the main thing is that, like,... ok, I have a very very stable mood, tons of serotonin or whatever, so when I'm happy I stay happy for a long time, like weeks. But,... when I get down I get stuck for long time. Very stable sad. One of my aunts died, we weren't close but it still hurts, and the cold front hit so I have been cold and hungry, and that dog topic made me miss my baby pug that died like years ago and then the Momento Mori sinks in which is just the worst feeling ever > Take Vit D supplement, exercise, and eat healthy. I do drink lots of milk so I think I get enough D (maybe), but I have been avoiding my exercise --- "Salt cures Everything!" My YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/user/Nirakolov/videos ... Lokarin posted... I can FEEL the humidity being sucked out of my skin and eyeballsme too. it's not the cold by itself; the cold air still has normal moisture %, just low moisture total (say 5/8 to make up some numbers). then when you heat it up to warm your home, the moisture capacity increases, and the % drops way down (the same 5 but now out of 80 for more made up numbers), which is why the warmed air then does literally suck the moisture from your body to bring its % back up. a humidifier is the solution to this problem although I have yet to get one myself. --- The truth basks in scrutiny. http://i.imgur.com/GMouTGs.jpg http://projecteuler.net/profile/Sahuagin.png ... I'm feeling mostly better I'm relatively sure the biggest impact was the cold front... since it dipped -32c last night and is currently -27 - that's a 40 degree one day drop --- "Salt cures Everything!" My YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/user/Nirakolov/videos ... Copied to Clipboard!
