This, at no point in my children's lives did I ever see them putting things in their mouths that shouldn't be there and go, "that's ok."

I would have fired that nanny so fast. Im glad she reacted quickly and the baby was safe. But she clearly wasnt paying attention and my nanny always knew not to let my daughter put random stuff in her mouth.

Im sure what happened was that the kid was putting dirt in their mouth cause thats what it did and the nanny didnt think to stop the baby. And not paying attention probably picked up fentanyl that was coincidentally laying in the grass and ingested it. Cause its a fucking baby.

That nanny was negligent and if it wasnt fentanyl it would be something else.

I think you are reading into that comment. They said the kid likes to put leaves in his mouth (kids put almost everything in their mouths). Nowhere do they say that they allow it though. Reasonable to assume they go and take the leaf out of the mouth after the kid puts it in

Im not saying they let their kid eat leaves. Also, I didnt make the statement. It sounds as if this kid is outside often and is accustomed to snacking on grass or leaves.

I have two kids; I fully understand infantile behavior. And thats why at 10 months old youre up your kids ass at all times because, as i said, if its not leaves or fentanyl it would be something else.

If the nanny was watching that kid there is no way it ingests fentanyl.

Yeah that was my thought too. I mean I'm not saying it's impossible, but it's improbable enough that unless they can positively identify that that's definitely where it came then it's a weird conclusion to settle on. And the fact that someone miraculously thought to use narcan

Yeah i wouldn't say i normalize my kid picking stuff from the ground eating it, but if you aren't a parent or take care of kids, its impossible for them not to put something in their mouth that they shouldn't lol.
