Should I try to hop back into Borderlands 2 (i have completed the main game in the past, but never the DLCs) or go to Borderlands 3?

I immediately like you because those are two of my favorite games.... but uhhh probably never saw your playthroughs.

I have Diablo 2R, I think I have a sorcerer of some sort. I think I'm just about to head to Act 2 but have no idea what i'm doing

I've played Borderlands 2 before.

I've played Diablo 3 somewhat extensively but never Diablo 2

For Borderlands 2 DLC, I loved Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon's Keep and Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage.

Mr Torgue is hilarious to me and his DLC has some of my favorite Borderlands quotes. Tiny Tina's DLC is the best DLC they've had to date (which is why we got Tiny Tina's Wonderlands).

a while back i was in the middle of a Borderlands series full story playthrough. Got burnt out somewhere around reaching Sanctuary in Borderlands 2 though after no-lifing Borderlands and TPS

If you've never done BL2 DLC, do that.

The Headhunter ones are fine but not exactly worldshaking.

Thanks, I'll probably still do them, but I'll focus on the other ones.

Alright I've made it to Three Horns Divide, playing as Gaige. Currently putting points into "Close Enough" and then will start the Anarchy tree.

Debating on what guns to use.

Anarchy Gaige actively made me worse at shooters and it's fucking incredible.

Mag dumping with a Jakobs is still hella fun

It only gets better with Anarchy Gaige.

Jakobs dumping and hitting people standing twenty feet behind you around a corner.

now i noticed that the ricochet rounds deal 50% less damage than a direct impact.

Each stack gives +1.75% damage so like 29 to break even.

It goes up to 400.

and where does Deathtrap come into play?

if at all? Open areas?

He's basically an "oh shit" button or for when you can't be bothered to chase someone down, or if you can toss him just before getting downed.

Not a very exciting robot.

DO NOT give him the skill that has him give you a shield boost.

It glitches and if you get downed he'll just stand there trying to boost your shield instead of trying to kill shit to get you up.

ooo that's a good tip, i absolutely would have taken that perk

He's also fantastic for Rakks and other flying enemies.

The lightning bolt thingy he does it a hitscan so he'll be dropping one every couple of seconds.

yeah i kept popping him while wandering Southern Shelf so I could look for the Vault Symbols
