My friends and I recently started playing this board game called Hibachi (pictured below), and a key component is to throw these little plastic discs onto certain areas on the board without crossing the line. I was able to win by abusing a loophole in the rules that allows you to move discs on the board, even if your throw is illegal (over the line) lol.
