"Oh, perfect choice," Argent says as the door opens.

Melvin runs out and slides along the floor in big fluffy socks, wearing a pointy pink hate and pink dress with white fluff on the hem and cuffs.

"Oh, she looks like the girl elves in Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer," you say.

Rockin' around, the Christmas tree,

The ladies strut out, though Raven is more reluctant, and they're all wearing variations on a Santa Claus/Christmas outfit! And all of you dignified young gentlemen are more excited for this than the basketball game.

Mistletoe hung where you can see,
Every couple tries~ to stop.

Raven looks great in a version of her old black leotard with the same white fluff on the legs, cuffs and even little boots. She also has a red Santa hat and cape that she is holding onto at the sides.

Starfire also has a Santa hat, a fairly small tube top and skirt so that her midriff is still bare, and she technically fulfills the standards of a Santa style outfit. Her purple thigh high boots and silver armbands are swapped out for black thigh high socks and black sleeve gloves. She finishes the ensemble with red boots with gold buckles on them.

Bumblebee has swapped out her black 'n' yellow stripes for red 'n' white so that her top is like a candy cane. Her usual black tights are now red, with black boots that have gold buckles. Similarly, Jinx's purple 'n' black stripes are black 'n' white, and she has a black dress with the white fluff and matching hat, almost like a naughty Santa.

Argent has a shoulderless red dress with black fluff, matching choker, black sleeve gloves like Starfire's, but fingerless, and red knee high boots with lots of laces. Pantha's in another one piece, but all red with very big fluff around the neck like a mane. And Kole has swapped out her blue, futuristic looking outfit to have it be green and red, more in line with what the elves would wear.

"How does it look?" Kole nervously asks Gnark.

"Gnark nark gnark!" the friendly neighborhood caveman says excitedly and with some laughter.

Kole blushes and smiles, flattered by his compliment.

"Hey, Sparky," Bumblebee says to Cyborg. "Let's dance."

Cyborg is rather surprised but she pulls him off the seat and they go to the open space behind the couch to dance to the saxophone solo.

"El es suertudo... <He is lucky...>" Mas, Menos y Blue Beetle say as Starfire dances with Robin.

"No estn tan tristes, muchachos. <Don't be so sad, boys.>"

Pantha picks Mas y Menos both up, one with each arm.

"Bailar contigo. <I'll dance with you.>"

Mas y Menos brighten up, and Pantha carries them on her shoulders.

"C'mon, Raven," you say as you offer a hand.

"Huh?" she says, a little surprised. "Oh, uh..."

Raven blushes and grumbles, mostly because Jinx and Argent both smile at her. Raven takes your hand, you go to the apparent dance floor, and you twirl her around to get the cape going. She smiles and you two do a little shimmy and two-step to the rhythm of the saxophone. Then you sway as the singing returns.

She puts Mas y Menos down gently and dances with Blue Beetle. The brothers frown, but they shrug it off and sing along with the song.

For being reluctant to dress up and shy about dancing, Raven has a big smile on her face now as she rests against you.

Mas y Menos zip back over to the couch, and Blue Beetle, Cyborg, and even Robin turn their heads to look at the TV. You chuckle but you do look over and see the tipoff. Giampa hits the ball and gets it to Shibata, Giants have the ball.

"We should probably get going on making Christmas dinner for the family," you say to Raven.

"We?" she repeats.

"Well, I will need some help again," you say.

"Yeah, okay," Raven says with a smirk. "Oh, but we'll need Cyborg to drive the Toddler Titans back."

"Of course," you say. "You go ahead and tell him."

"Hey, Cyborg," Raven says.

"Yeah?" Cyborg replies.

"In a little bit, you're gonna have to help us get the Toddler Titans back to Rorek's place. We're gonna have dinner with his family tonight."

"Got it," he says. "What're we having?"

"No, no, we," Raven says, motioning to you, herself and the Toddler Titans.

"The Titan dinner is tomorrow night," you say. "We'll be eating out at the Magical Melting Pot."

"Then what're we having?" Melvin says, also motioning to you, Raven and the Toddler Titans.

"Venison steak," you say. "Mmm~."

"Ooh, yeah, you do a good job with venison," Raven says.

"Thank you," you say.

"What's venison?" Timmy asks.

"It's deer meat," you say.

"Like, reindeer...?" Timmy asks.

There's a look of dread on his face, as well as on Melvin's and Teether's.

"No, no!" you and Raven both say quickly with hands reached out forward.

"Regular deer," you say. "Sometimes, not even deer. Sometimes it's elk."

The Toddler Titans calm down.

"Alright, let's round up our things," Raven tells the Toddler Titans. "And Bobby, c'mon."

You totally forgot about Bobby having gone off with the ladies. He walks up and you see the tiniest little antlers and shiny red nose on him, like he's a big teddy bear Rudolph.

"Okay, Bobby, let's get ready to go back," you say.

You and Cyborg carry the gifts down for Raven and the Toddler Titans. You all go down to the garage, the gifts are packed into the T-Car and Bobby hops on Shadowfax.

"Getting more comfortable now, huh?" you say. "Good, good."

Your little convoy drives from Titans Tower and over the water to the mainland. You make your way back to your home and see the rental SUV is still here. You pull Shadowfax into the garage and go in through the interior door.

"Knock knock," you say. "We're back."

"Oh, perfect timing," your mother says. "I'm almost done with this soup."

"What? You should've let me know you were going to make something."

"Oh, it's no big deal," she says. "Just a simple vegetable soup. Even I can put this together."

"Well, alright. Hope everyone is in the mood for venison steaks."

"Mmm, yes, that sounds good," your father says. "Soup, steaks. Anything else?"

"Only dessert," you say. "We already had cake, so perhaps a nice pie? Maybe pudding?"

"Both of those sound nice to me," your grandfather says.

"If it's pie, you'll have to start that now," your mother says.

"Well, for now, I need to start on the steaks," you say.

You go to the kitchen, see mother's soup is going well, and get out the venison, onions, garlic, ginger, cinnamon sticks, orange zet, chestnuts, sugar, and coffee beans.

"Oh, my," your mother says as Raven walks in the with Toddler Titans. "That's a... rather festive outfit."

"Oh, yeah, um," Raven says nervously. "The other girls kinda sprang this on all of us, me included. I'll just, uh, keep the cloak closed..."

Raven helps the Toddlers with their presents and they sit with your sisters and grandmother to watch whatever's on TV. Raven then joins you in the kitchen.

You remove tendons from the meat while Raven takes one whole onion, two cloves of garlic, and two thumbs of ginger to put in the food processor and mash all that up into a nice paste. She also takes about a cup's worth of chestnuts and chops those up.

You rub the meat down with the paste and let them marinate. That alone will take about an hour, so you look at your dessert possibilities. You don't have enough fruit to make a pie, so you'll go with pudding.

While waiting on the marinating, you put together fond de veau, a cinnamon stick, a teaspoon of the zest, and ground coffee beans. Once the marinating is done, the excess is to mix with this and the chopped chestnuts to create a chestnut sauce.

After the hour, you do as said, mixing the excess rub into the chestnut sauce. While that simmers, Raven helps you brush a light coat of olive oil on the roast, then season with salt and pepper. You put that in the broiler for just eight minutes, flip, and broil for another six minutes. After that, the heat is turned off and the roast rests for 15 minutes.

The sauce has reduced by half at this point, and you add more chestnuts. This simmers for three minutes. You take the roast out, slice into portions, and plate. You pour the chestnut sauce onto them, sprinkle it with chopped parsley and garnish with cinnamon and chestnuts.

As the steaks are almost done, everyone else sits at the table to have your mother's vegetable soup.

"Dinner is served," you say to the others. "Grilled venison with chestnut sauce."

Everyone already enjoys the steaks just looking at them, and then dig in.

"Absolutely delicious," your mother says.

"Thank you," you say.

For drinks, you serve some punch. And knowing pie isn't an option, you prepare...

Figgy pudding, the traditional Christmas pudding of England.

You put raisins, sultana grapes, currants, almonds, and candied citrus together in a bowl, pour in some brandy--which you only have because of the restaurant--and stir it all up so that everything gets soaked with the drink.

Now, normally this would take an overnight step, but you cheat and speed things up using a modification of Nature magic's growth spell. It isn't really time magic, it only works on organic material and only goes forward.

After this, you place in breadcrumbs, flour, brown sugar, baking powder, salt and some mixed spices, like nutmeg and cinnamon. This part is very customizable to fit personal preferences. These all get stirred together into a nice blend.

In yet another bowl, you move the soaked fruit mix over, and then add grated apple, beef suet, lemon zest and orange zest, black treacle, and egg. This is stirred up, then the dried mix is added to make a thick and sticky batter.

You butter up a mold, fill it with the pudding batter, and you press it down and smooth out the top. A circle of parchment paper is buttered then placed on the mold so that butter contacts batter. Then more parchment paper is added to be more of a wrap on the mold, the excess cut away and recycled. You then tie the paper all down nice and tight to keep the pudding in the mold.

You bring out a large pot, putting a cloth on the bottom. You fill this with water, bring it to a low simmer, then carefully set the mold inside, with the water only reaching the halfway point of the mold. The cloth is to be a buffer between mold and pot to prevent scorching. You put a lid on the pot so that the pudding will be steamed.

Normally, this would take about eight hours, but you again cheat it a bit with acceleration magic. You really should've planned this ahead of time, but oh well. You have to be careful how long you go with the spell or you'll overshoot the mark. You undershoot it a bit to be safe, and check the pot.

"Mmm~," your family says as they sniff the air.

"Is that figgy pudding?" grandmother asks.

"Yes," you say. "I hope my shortcuts haven't ruined the taste."

You flip the mold onto a large serving platter, and let this next part happen in real-time. The pudding loosens from the mold and slowly drops onto the plate as it cools.

"Oh, bring~ us some figgy pudding," grandfather starts to sing. "Oh, bring~ us some figgy pudding."

"Oh, bring~ us some figgy pudding," your family joins in, "and bring it right here!"

"Oh, bwing us some figgy pudding," Teether joins in. "Oh, bwing us some figgy pudding. Oh, bwing us some figgy pudding. And bwing it wight here!"

"Yes, yes, here we are," you say.

"Good tidings we bring, to you and your kin," grandfather continues. "We wish you a Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year!"

"We wish you a Merry Christmas," the family joins in. "We wish you a Merry Christmas. We wish you a Merry Christmas. And a Happy New Year!"

The pudding is cut into 12 pieces and served, and everyone moves to the living room to eat.

"So, tomorrow, the Titans are having dinner at the restaurant," you say. "You are all welcome to join if you want."

"That's very nice of you to offer, Rory," your mother says, "but we really should return home. We have to plan for New Year's, after all."

"Aw, alright," Raven says. "In that case, we'll make sure Rose and Becca pack up and are ready in the morning for you to pick them up."

"If this is going to be our last night here, can we stay up late?" Roselind asks.

"No, you need to get up in the morning," your father says. "You can sleep more on the plane."

"Okay..." Rebecca says while both sisters pout.

"Maybe we should bring up a New Year's party to the Titans," you say

"I don't know if everyone can come back just a week after taking time off like this," Raven says.

"I suppose that's true," you say.

"For being sped up, this Figgy pudding turned out quite nicely," your father says.

"Thank you," you say.

Everyone eats up, with the twelfth slice left over for you. You wrap it up in foil and put it in the fridge.

"See you girls in the morning," your mother says.

"Good night, mum," your sisters say.

Your sisters hug your mother, father, and grandparents, then you take your turn hugging them. They exit and drive away in the rental.

"Alright, let's all get ready for bed," you say.

The Toddler Titans take their turns in the bathroom first, and Raven tucks them into their sleeping bags while your sisters take their turns.

"Make sure to double check everything," you tell them. "If you leave something behind, I'll have to mail it to you and that'll take a long time."

Your sisters pack up their luggage, and you also check the bathroom one time through while brush your teeth. Nothing in here looks like theirs, so you should be in the clear.

Raven brushes her teeth last while you turn out lights in the living room. You arrive in the bedroom first, and change into your sleep wear first.

"This was a great Christmas," Raven says as she walks in moments later.

"Agreed," you say. "Probably one of the best ones I've had in a long time."

"Me, too, actually," she says.

"Even with being put into this outfit?" you ask as you admire her legs. "I can help you out of that, if you'd like."

"Oh stop," Raven says.

Raven hangs up the cloak and takes off the boots before getting into bed. You join her in bed and snuggle up before drifting off to sleep.

You get up bright and early the next morning to help your sisters get going for when the family returns.

"Alright, I'll be right back," you tell Raven. "I need to help everyone get their luggage to the airport."

"Alright," Raven says. "What do you wanna do about breakfast?"

"You don't have to wait for me if you and the Toddlers get hungry."

"No, it's okay," Raven says. "We should eat together."

"Well, if that's what you want," you say.

"I'll make something when I get back. Something really special for the last day with the Toddler Titans here."

"That sounds great," she says.

You head out with the family, driving your sisters to the airfield in the car behind the rental SUV. Traffic is a bit more than usual, though you should've known it'd be this way the day after Christmas.

You still make it to the airfield in under an hour. The family jet is already waiting, so you drive up. Father takes the SUV back to turn it in, then returns as the luggage is loaded.

"All good?" you ask him.

"Yes, it's all good," he says. "Thank you for this, Rory, really."

"Not at all," you say. "It was a great time."

You and your father hug, he pats you on the back, and then ushers the others into the plane. You go back to the car and pull away before the plane takes off.

Traffic is about the same leaving the airfield as it was going there. On your drive back, you think about what would be special enough for this breakfast.

You decide to go with French toast. It'll be quick and easy yet savory and sweet, and fairly filling, too.

You return to the house just after 9 AM, and Raven is with the Toddler Titans watching television.

"Alright," you say to the group. "Ready for French toast?"

"Yay~!" the Toddler Titans say as they get up.

You go to the kitchen and the Toddler Titans get to sit at the main dining table now.

You grab standard sliced white bread, milk, some eggs, cinnamon salt and butter, and a variety of fruits and other things for toppings.

In a shallow bowl, you whisk eggs, milk, cinnamon and salt to make the glaze, and you dunk the bread a slice at a time, soaking both sides. You lightly butter a skillet over medium-high heat, and then put the soaked bread on it. It takes only about three to four minutes to cook one side of the bread into a golden brown toast, and then flip it over to cook for another three minutes.

Everyone gets two slices on their plate, and Raven helps bring those and the toppings to the table.

For your French toast, you put on some peanut butter and chocolate chips. Raven chops up a banana and squeezes out some honey for Teether while Melvin shakes the whip cream can. She makes a big swirl of cream over both slices, then drops a couple strawberries on the cream.

Timmy looks at the peanut butter, so you pass it to him. He proceeds to put on a heavy layer of peanut butter on his toast, then some grape jelly. He then uses his fork and knife to put the second slice on top of the first to create a French toast PB&J sandwich that he still eats with his fork and knife.

"That's rather ingenious," you say.

Timmy smiles proudly while chewing the gooey toast.

After breakfast, Raven takes care of clearing the table and washing the dishes while you finally shower. You dress casually, and will change into something more semi-formal before leaving for the restaurant.

While Raven again sits with the Toddler Titans watching television, you work on the menu for tonight's dinner. The main thing is how many courses you'll be serving.
