That said, I was probably still below average as far as swim team kids go. I can stay afloat and propel myself faster than the average person can in and under water, but I never learned the proper form or if I did it was when I was very young and I've since forgotten that knowledge. KCF0107 12/06/22 4:01:21 PM #8:	The one thing that my parents insisted that I do was take swim lessons. I took them for 4-5 summers at a pool that I was a regular/member at for about a decade. I took it for my entire sophomore year in high school and was upgraded to the "advanced lane" for the second semester.
