I absolutely loved the game and it definitely deserves it

But watching people flip out over GoWR being "oscar bait" and Sony "rigging" the awards was too funny

Elden Ring was always going to win the two big ones (Direction and GOTY).

Ragnarok has some glaring issues in its story that people seem to be ignoring. Everything with Kratos and Atreus is great. Everything else is meh.

I would actually disagree. It has enough story to get you where you need to go. That's not a bad thing, games don't need amazing stories.
