Almost all of the Atelier games are better than Elden Ring

It will be, because my favorite game will end up being Elden Ring + DLC most likely

Elden Ring is my favorite game as a true adult, so over 20 years. Hard to compare vs games from my childhood and college.

My favorite game is equally good as Elden Ring

So many games are better than Elden Ring for me.

That said, I acknowledge that Elden Ring is great at what it does.

I've never played it, but I've heard it's essentially a dark souls game, and those games have a pretty niche audience, so there's tons of games I would say are better.

The crazy thing is that Elden Ring sold WAY more than any of the Souls games. No longer niche at all.

Souls and its many pretenders aren't really niche at this point. That shit started its own genre and corpse runs are in other genre's now too. I think Elden Ring in particular sold something nutty like 20 millions copies and it isn't even a year old yet.

Soulsborne hasn't been niche in a long time. "The Dark Souls of ______" has been a phrase for hard games for a long time now, and DS3 has sold over 10 million units

The newest game literally just won GoTY on the big stage lol. It's hard to call it a niche now.

And the best thing about Soulsborne is that it gaining popularity didn't seem to have any effect on the direction the team behind it wanted to go. You can see the vision from the beginning of the PS1 era games all the way through to Elden Ring. You can tell no outside influenced could crack it. It's a case of the people who deserve to be at the top finally being there.

Despite how disappointed am I with gta online now, I still had so much fun finishing work and then jumping onto the game with 3 other friends to run the Pacific standard heist multiple times for money.

We got so good and efficient, we were racing each other to objectives and speed running the heist.

Then with our money, we spent them on cars and mods and we'd show em off to each other. Driving around town with our new cars, boats and planes and apartments and showing off to the new players were great.

It was like the ultimate modern day mmorpg.
