Ive been tempted to get the stand alone disc version, but I only really want it for FF16 and there could be a slim announced by then or a special ff16 bundle so i think im better off waiting

Yeah Survivor doesnt come out until March, so not a huge rush on that part.

it'll survive. it may just need a cleaning if it sounds like a jet engine.

Ive noticed its taking a lot longer to load stuff up lately. Last time this happened I had to send it in for warranty work ugh(days gone eventually bricked it)

Those are the main retailers to try. It might help to follow one of the stock trackers on Twitter: Wario64, Matt Swider and Jake Randall are all great. Basically you follow them, turn on your notifications and they'll tweet when one of the retailers have consoles in stock. That's how I got my PS5 last year through Target.

To each their own. I like being able to just hit the home button to change games. Plus I mount the console behind my tv, so its a PITA to switch discs.

But obviously you cant resell the games after youre done. Or if you get banned, get fucked bc youre simply leasing the game, you dont own it.

but the convenience and price are too hard to pass up.

Ah, yeah you got beat by people that had the app pre-downloaded and their info already filled in. That is the advice that's usually given. Have all of your payment and shipping info pre-saved on the main retailers. So when they do get some in stock, you just add to cart and immediately check out.

wait you could have got one and you didn't? lol

the last ps5 i got from the direct, said it required a signature but they just left that thing on my doorstep. even then, they just take it to a drop off point for pick up if you're not around.
