Did Casey Anthony murder her daughter?

It really seems painfully obvious.

She did, but I guess whether or not she did is not as important as whether it can be proven that she did. This isn't an OJ Simpson case where the evidence is there but somehow the prosecution fuck up or the jury is dumdum penis dum.

Imo the child died in an accident / negligence / she did something really stupid not intending to kill them and then she tried to cover it up.

It is uncertain. I literally lived in the town it happened in at the time. They could have easily convicted her on lesser charges. They did not have the evidence to prove *enough* that she did the charge they went with. It could have happened, but it is not conclusive.

That's what I believe, that wretch was letting a chloroform rag babysit her daughter and killed her.

Here's what I think happened:

Casey is asleep next to Caylee. Caylee wakes up and goes downstairs and climbs into the pool, where she drowns.

When Casey awakens, she panics and gets her father and they search and find Caylee's body. Casey's father decides to get rid of the body.

He takes it somewhere and leaves it. The guy who is credited with finding the body (don't remember the name) finds the body weeks later when people are searching and moves/hides it in hopes of the reward going up.

Eventually he reveals the body he "found" to the police, without mentioning that he moved it or hid it for a while.

I have read the books on the subject by both the prosecutor and defense attorney and this is the most likely scenario.

Ultimately, I think it doesn't matter at this point. Negligence or fully intended, she proceeded to lie through her teeth for years, throw her family under the bus, and act a victim after partying and celebrating after her daughter died. Would it being murder make it all the more foul? Absolutely, but she's already a reprobate in the best case scenario to begin with.

Should've gotten life for it and whoever signed off on the idea of giving her further fame should be fired and blacklisted from the industry. It's really just fucked she's getting attention at all, and she certainly shouldn't be getting anything resembling cash for that fame.

I didn't follow it well but I think it came down to the evidence being mostly circumstantial. But the shear amount of evidence would have made me vote guilty. She obviously knew and hid the death and partied it up. She got away with it for sure.

Apparently there's a new """documentary"""" on NBC's streaming service where they interview Casey about the case. She's now claiming that her father and brother abused her as a child and he took Kaylee and she waited a month to call the police and never mention any of that and also play act with him when he visited her in prison.

She said the tattoo she got while Kaylee was missing (the one that says 'beautiful life' in Italian) was her "fuck you" to her rapey asshole family.

The court cannot determine that she didn't kill her daughter. A not guilty verdict just means there is insufficient evidence to prove it in a court.

Definitely complicit in a coverup and psychotically remorseless. Not only was she out clubbing when her child was "missing" and taking photos like she was having the time of her life, she invented a nanny out of thin air that didn't exist.

Nah. She was just an extremely negligent bitch that shouldn't of had a child in the first place. She didn't intend for her kid to die, but she didn't care either.

This is one of those stories I legit know nothing about

Which if you know me is weird, I like keeping up to date with the news

But literally all I know about Casey Anthony is people on social media and message boards cracking "jokes" about her

And that DBZ abridged originally had a Casey Anthony joke that they had to censor.

I legit don't know a single detail about the case.

It was a depressing but interesting video

I don't see how anyone can argue she didn't do it after watching that. It just can't be proven in court.

After watching the latest documentary giving her side of the story on Peacock, I think her daughter accidentally died because of her (from drowning) but I don't think she did it on purpose. But she definitely tried to cover it up.

Its amazing how often and easily she lies like it's a common, normal conversation.

Some people go so far into the lies that the begin to believe them, making them sound more believable.

She knows exactly what happened, what that is I'm not sure. She was involved, probably directly.
