Sorry for a stupid question I should have an answer for, but I get no definitive, clear answer googling it.

If I get Netflix today for my dad, can I still browse the internet and use it normally while he is watching Netflix?

Our internet is spectrum from an optical cable from outside and I have a Roku media player ready to install on his old 2000's tv.

TY for any help.

Youll be able to use your internet just fine

it might be a little bit slower if someone is streaming a movie/show but you also might never notice a difference at all

Your internet will work fine, but your father will experience significant slowdown. If he has a heart condition, you'll want to avoid it
