This is pertaining to a weed delivery (it's legal here). I screwed up on my payment tender and forgot to put the tip in when I payed online. I only have $7 worth of cash and I was wondering if you were the driver, would you be pissed?

I think for delivery what matters most is the distance because of time and gas spent. Plus 122 worth of weed its something you can still pick with one hand.

I think on something like weed delivery you should tip more on the miles of delivery than the price of the weed.

Im a bartender and sometimes I pour drinks that are 70$ for a pour, but I dont expect a huge tip on that because it was just one drink.

I wouldnt tip weed delivery based on value. Grabbing a prepackaged oz takes as long as grabbing a prepackaged 1 gram joint.

so long as they are within like 10 minute drive Id say its fine. 10-15 minute drive its cheap but ok. Over 15 and should be closer to $10.

what if the estimated delivery time is 4-5 hours? There are 5 deliveries apparently ahead of me. God I feel so bad.

Nah dont ever feel guilt tripped into tipping more based on price. If I order a $60 steak Im tipping the same as a $30 steak, there was no difference to the server why should there be a difference to me

Im not anti tipping higher, I always tip a stupid amount on everything, Im just saying depending on mileage of the delivery tc shouldnt feel bad for his initial tip

Then he is getting tips from all those deliveries as well. And omg if you feel this bad just go to nearest atm and get a 10. You could ask to venmo it...you have options.

Wait time doesnt matter. They might have 100 customers ahead of you. Are there restrictions how much weed someone can hold at once? Id 1oz is legal but above that is considered trafficking or something, they might be able to do only 1 delivery at a time or something.

I resolved the issue. I asked for their venmo and decided to tip them an extra $15 for the inconvenience. So in total I tipped $22.
