It scared me so much I was thinking about it at night for months afterwards. I knew right then that I should never watch another horror movie. Maybe it wouldn't have the same effect on me now but I never went back and it still doesn't seem like a smart choice to watch something that could impact me that way. But I still can play horror games, it never had the same effect on me, I guess because game graphics won't quite achieve the same level of realism...? I like them not because of the scary stuff, but moreso because they tend to excel at atmosphere compared to most games. It oftens feels as though there's a lot more of the latter than the former though. But if it gets to be too bloody and messy, I can get uncomfortable, and I don't particularly like things like decapitation. It's the same sort of thing for games. I like some parts of Resident Evil, but not so much others. Not into Silent Hill at all because that's even more scary/violent.
