I mean, it all matters how much you can emotionally handle. When you're not emotionally driven, there's usually no reason to care enough about someone elses opinion to get angry instead of just thinking over top of them in your own head. Every person is a potential case study if you're interested in human nature and psychology

I do agree most the stuff listed makes for an annoying person to talk to. But I got nothing better going on, so eh. I have a feeling Im fitting into your annoying pet peeves myself :3

Talking about publishing a book, doing more art, making a game, etc. but they spend all their time smoking pot instead.

When someone labels themselves a feminist, when they're not a legitimate feminist. (Never seen an actual feminist on CE)
When someone calls someone a transphobe, expecting that word to have anywhere close to the reaction "racist" does. (Protip: it doesn't, most it wouldn't phase at all)
When they take CE seriously and not as the joke it is.

Not entertaining bad opinions isnt making them go away. Plugging your ears and saying la la la makes things worse, or at the very least ensures nothing changes. This is exactly the sort of shit people mean when they use phrases like virtue signaling but you dont want to hear it because then you might not be the great person you think you are lol. Appreciate the response. And tbf, my memory wouldn't even allow me to keep track of anyone enough to write them off completely lol. Im also always looking for little things to win me back over just cause I like liking people. If someone's gotta go in a room of 5, I usually know who it probably should be. But that doesn't mean I can't still try to see the good or fun in them. Doesn't help if you gotta press the button tho. And we need button pressers at the end of the day. Which os to say, Im just not built for this type of discussion

Yah, I'm not going to be indiscriminately rude to people. If a topic comes up I'll talk about it and try to make someone see sense. If I can't? That's fine, i just choose not to be around that person again for my own wellbeing. I'll still be civil while I'm around them.
