From women, I hear it isn't just 17 but 25 year old women are very naive and impressionable to men who are at least 10 years older than them. Here is a video of two side of the argument. https://fb.watch/hBFjNTr4ac/?mibextid=NnVzG8 Guy side: Older women comes with more baggage Older women are more likely be bitter Less likely to be submissive. Younger women would have more sex with you than not. The woman side she said Younger are more niave and let Older men get away with a lot of stuff Both men and women do it more but men are more visible at taking advantage of the younger girl Majority* of men wants to control the Younger women They want a servant instead of a true partner That a 20 year old woman and 30 year old man have different life experiences and at different chapter of their lives And if you're not interested in their life experiences good or bad, you are not really interested in the person themselves. I seen celebrities like Henry Caville and Leonardo get heavily criticize for dating young women. Me, personally. I am seeing someone my age. I feel like as long you and have the something to discuss and bond over. You age shouldn't matter as long as you're legal. I do believe they are guys who do take advantage of Younger women. I remember a 21 year old dating one og my friends who was in middle school. That was creepy. When it comes to someone who is 22 and is dating a 32 year old, come on... look into the details of the relationship. Are they both treating each other right? Does he really respect her? Does she seem value in him or is she dating him because her ideal man is that age? What am I missing? Is there other reason why you feel and age gap is inappropriate? EDIT: * Majority- so the problem I have with this is that a lot of the critics feel like it is a Majority, if not all, the 'age gap' relationships are creepy/abusive/controlling.. bsp77 12/23/22 1:19:03 PM #6:	I am 45 and my fiance is 30. We started dating 2 years ago, but had been friends for 3 years prior. There aren't really any issues with an age gap. We like some similar things, but not others. She doesn't get most of my 80s and 90s pop culture references, but that isn't that big of a deal. We also are pretty independent and spend a decent chunk of time alone or with others, so our time together is special. She does have a lot less baggage than the several people I dated in the years after my divorce and prior to dating her. She actually assumes positive intent and isn't triggered by exes as much. Admittedly, I have some baggage... But I do NOT want a servant. Since she is so introverted, I actually have pushed her to stand up more for herself and to me when necessary. I actually resisted dating her for 3 years because I did NOT want to take advantage of her, or just "wham bam thank you ma'am" and break her heart. Not quite as much as me but I get nailed by child support because I have 4 daughters (same mom lol). So it isn't like there is that kind of money / power dynamic. If you're moving with love, I don't get why you'd defend the ones that aren't. If you get into a relationship with an age gap and are genuinely in love with the person for sincere reasons, you wouldn't be the one being pressed. You'd become the exception and your values would be on display and speak for themselves. But in the grand scheme, it's so weird to completely ignore how much toxic behavior the older party are going into these relationships with in favor of trying to change the image to completely cater to you being able to date younger people without anyone ever questioning it. That's already suspect because you're basically asking the world not to check in on the people you're dating. How is that anything but suspect? Lol.
