The last scary video game I tried to play was the first outlast

I could tell after about ten minutes it was going to scare the fuck out of me so I swore off scary video games altogether

I'm not easy to frighten, so the only thing about PT that's scares me is that I didn't have a PS4 to download it onto, hold until it was no longer available, and resell for a markup.

Even watching a Let's Play of PT was way too much for me.

I played the Resident Evil 7 demo in VR, and I noped out the very second I turned around and the mannequins were all looking at me in the attic.

Don't ever play Condemned: Criminal Origins. Same thing happens in that game

I think it being in VR is why it was so bad for me. I can generally handle creepy atmosphere in an ordinary game, and it's not like I have a specific fear of mannequins...but something about having headphones on, being fully immersed into the VR experience...

I felt this sense of very real dread and unease. When I turned and saw those fucking mannequins all looking at me, I had two options:

1.) Take a few steps and risk them attacking me or something else creepy happening.

2.) Immediately remove the headset, power off the PS4, and never touch that game again.

You can probably guess which one I chose. And it only took one second to choose.

That's one reason I want to get a VR headset at some point, but they're still just so expensive.

Like I really want to play a bit of Subnautica just to get the proper scale of the leviathans. They're big in-game, but the perspective fucks it up a little bit.

If I had the chance to play Subnautica in VR, I would simply let it pass me by. Those fuckers are scary enough when I can't see them at all. I don't need a reaper two inches from my face.

PT seriously fucked with me at times. Especially with headphones and in the dark.

I hate all the fuckers that put it as number 1 on best horror games lists!!!!!!!
