My main takeaway in general is whatever the hell those show creators are making, I'll be there to watch it. Both Dark and 1899 are amazing. Absolutely amazing, in the case of Dark, since it's complete at 3 seasons while 1899 has season 1 and with 3 total planned, as well.

Gonna start Severance in the next day or so, if anyone's seen that.

Yea Dark cracked into my top ten shows of all time, it's great to watch something that's thought through not made up on the go with each season.

Havent finished Dark yet, or started 1899, but you are spot on about Dark being great.

Severance might be the best TV show Ive seen in the last year.

I know!! So many shows these days go on and on for as long as possible and make up what's going to happen next, or plan slightly ahead. It feels so good to watch something so tightly planned.

I need to get back into dark I started the last season and was a little lost so need to get a recap...

i havent finished Dark yet. i watched the first season when it came out but havent seen the rest yet. might restart it soon...

as for 1899, i felt indifferent. altho it was cool to see some portuguese representation... >_>

Finished the second season. I generally like to watch something else in between seasons of really good shows like that as a sort of palette cleanser, and I just havent gotten around to starting the third yet.

Dark is the one european one right? I stopped because the voices didn't line up with the mouths and that always turns me off sub live action content.

dark was great. i have to finish up some other shows with my movie night homies but i'm excited to get to 1899.

i can do animated dubs but not live. had to watch the german.

Makes sense! Though you have better control than I do lol. I get those cliff-hangers and I just bulldoze right ahead (when possible).

German, yeah. I did read that the dub is pretty bad for it. I'm not able to do dubbed live-action stuff, myself.

Yiu must have been watching the dub. You can change the settings and have it in German
