I've never played a Total War and my only Warhammer experience is Vermintide but it looks intriguing

It's actually not a bad game to start with so far as Total War games go. The town management is a bit easier than Rome 2.

They're fun. The only thing that sucks is if you want access to every single faction you have to buy the DLC from the first two games. That's absolutely not necessary, though.

Kinda torn on them, immortal empires is good, but it should be great. WH2 and it's combined mode is a better experience right now unless you really want to play as one of the WH3 factions.

Amazing games. If you pick up the first two you should know that a game mode from 2 pulls content from the first one as well so DLC from 1 will be playable in Mortal Empires

There's been a big push from the fans and Total War content creators recently to try and get Creative Assembly to consider making the combined map free for everyone in Warhammer 3. In that case, you'd only have to buy 1 and 2 if you want to play as the races that those games introduced.

Warhammer 1 and 2 to start with is probably a good idea though.

I love total war shogun 2 and da other look hella interesting but i never played dem enough, shogun 2 is just so simple to me and fun lol

The simplicity really does make Shogun 2 stand out. The Warhammer games are very good and offer a ton of variety in comparison, but with that also comes complexity. All Total War games probably require a bit of outside knowledge to really grasp, but there's a lot to keep track of in the Warhammer games. And not even just Warhammer. Three Kingdoms has much more depth to it than any of the past games ever did.

2's combined campaign modded up is some of the most fun I've ever had gaming. 3 is a bit messy currently but I remember 2 being much the same so here's hoping they tune that sucker up!
