this show doesn't need to have attempted rape, extorted rape, or rape in every other episode. The plot is exciting, the characters are complex, and the games are elaborate enough to keep the viewer engaged. It's too good of a show to need this disgusting shock value

An existence without brutal assaults is a relatively modern concept, and we arent even fully there yet.

no one is watching this show for the realism or dark realities of an apocalyptic scenario. We're watching it for the elaborate games in an apocalypse. Trust me if i wanted a lesson on how barbaric mankind can get in such an event I'd watch something that takes the topic seriously instead of using it as shock value in a glorified game of tag, and committed by a guy who looks like a final fantasy character. The fact that it's used as just shock value for the audience is an insult to real rape victims tbh. Women in the show just gloss over it like it was another day in the office

yes a show that where people are randomly transported into an alternate dimension with laser beams in the sky, where the only way to survive is by competing in games with another. A tv show that's literally named after alice in wonderland is realistic

can't forget that fight scene where the chick in a bikini beats up a samurai while standing upon broken glass

For some reason I highly doubt he knew it was a manga.

i haven't started season 2 yet, but if you're mainly interested in the games i heavily recommend going through the manga

i don't think it's too likely to be adapted, but the Jack of Hearts is my favorite, and a shoutout to King of Clubs and King of Diamonds

I dont remember rape being a thing in the second season tbh.

i mean I remember the attempted rape of Usagi during the first game that didnt actually go through because he got knocked out.
