The kid was irritating and the city backdrop didn't look particularly realistic, but I loved the Rock's character and how he and the "heroes" differed. I think the uncut, R-rated version would have been better. Dr. Fate was a cool character that really should have had his own movie. They needed to lean into the violence and weirdness more like Suicide Squad did, but overall it was a really fun watch.

Fate was cool but the rest of the team were grade-A posers. Who tf picked birdguy to be the captain lol. Dude kept running his mouth as if Adam couldn't pop his head like a grape.

Honestly, I thought it was hilarious. They send a team nobodies to fight an angry god who can only be defeated if he decides to give up. They didn't even come prepared with compelling arguments about why he should give up or with any kind of a deal he might be interested in. Not even as a deception. They literally just appeared, declared themselves good and him bad, and demanded he give up his powers and be imprisoned just because they said so. Nobody would go for that, especially not a former slave.

The third act was not good. Not saying the first two were great, but the Justice Society was at least interesting.

But its a super hero movie starring The Rock, so we have to be more lenient.
