How's Valheim? I got into Grounded last month via Pass and got so hooked. It's basically my gateway drug to survival craft.

Payday 2: 34% (I uninstalled the game halfway through the year but apparently how hard I went in March and April was enough for it to win this. I really liked this game but I had to put my foot down because it's getting worse and worse.)
New Vegas: 24% (Also my longest streak, played it every day for the best part of a month. For some reason every August I get a hankering for New Vegas)
TF2: 21% (Every now and then I get bored and pick my obsessive try-to-perfect-Wave-666 habit back up. Genuinely can't tell why a random mid-year month is apparently when I played it most though, what was I doing)
Doesn't list any others although I definitely got some RE5, Dead Rising and Mega Man in there.

Games that were new releases: 0%
Games released in the past 1-7 years: 33% (Including still kinda new-ish games first released in the past 7 years such as Dead Rising 1, 8 bit Mega Man and Resident Evil 5, I'm assuming.)
Classic games: 67% (It also says these numbers are reversed for the average Steam person)

I definitely recommend it. I played it solo though, and I probably will with Valheim as well.

hmmm, it shows up fine in the Steam app. apparently it was Gauntlet: Slayer Edition.

I feel like I play nothing but Metroidvania's these days but I guess they're not lengthy enough to reach top hours played. Elden Ring being my most played doesn't surprise me whatsoever. This was the first full year I had this new gaming-capable PC after years of using craptop's and being a console/portable gamer. No way my next year of Steam will look like this.

I'm seeing a lot of Elden Ring lol. It'd be fun to see a statistic for how many Replay top 5 lists ER is in.

Warhammer 3 was my most played game of the year somehow and I haven't really played it since the first two months it launched.

Mine's a bit skewed by me leaving a dumb idle game running in the background for days at a time.

This reeeeally needs to distinguish between games that you play for something like 10 minutes only to find out you aren't a fan versus something that you actually completed. It's already a bit funky in long versus short games/games with a metric ton of achievements versus very few, but the positively absurd amount of padding this got added to by the Ukraine Humble Bundle without actually adding games that I really played for any length of time is pretty staggering. Especially when I go back to find out WTF I even played. >.>

Yup. I enjoyed this one quite a bit and it helps that I played after a few patches like when they removed every missable but the "bad" ending, and when they made armor actually affect the gameplay. The Colors of Rot update is something I've been looking forward to and I do plan to go back, but I'm busy playing other stuff. I was only missing the previously mentioned bad ending achievement, and now I've got more to come back to.

It's a very parry-heavy game and you don't get to map area's until you find this one spot in each section in the game(which are easier to find post-patch thanks to some changes and hints towards their locations). I honestly don't remember what the downside is to dying in this game, but I assume there was one since it's pretty souls-y in its equipment/leveling up/stamina.

seems about right. I picked up Crypt of the Necrodancer in February and played it for 30 hours or so, then didn't play it again until this past October and have put an additional 80 hours into it. Also played a shitton of Isaac in August through October. This is a cool feature, glad they're copying Spotify in that regard.

Maplestory and Idle Champions really skewed my results this year. Idle champions because it's the type of game that is running 24/7, and Maplestory because I finally returned to it after a 5+year break, and those damn dailies had me checking in every day

Least I had a nice number of games played.

Kingmaker is okay but wrath of the righteous is amazing even with all of it's problems it's such an amazingly l, densely packed game

I got one of those on my mobile, I think I had to log in there and I am too just lazy to do it. My guess since I don't use steam a lot (though more lately) is probably if not all time (it would be The Secret World) more like Steins;Gate. I should have hit the button. I could be suprised. I did play a lot of Skyrim/Enderal too but TSW was still higher.
