someone traded me a shiny Slither Wing in a Love Ball, so that's neat. I knew that second shiny Clauncher would pay off.

Going for Shiny Tynamo

Which is an awful thing to try to go for since a) it's small, b) it likes to hang out below the surface of the water, and c) its shiny color is very hard to perceive.

So I had no idea you can make a new user and therefore have a separate save file.

Yep, that's the best thing about the Switch compared to past Nintendo systems. Multiple profiles means multiple save files with only one copy of the game, physical or digital. I've done it on every Pokemon game on the system, as well as on Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel too. The only drawback is that your NSO subscription doesn't count for multiple profiles, so aside from free-to-download games (like the aforementioned Master Duel), you'd have to either pay for NSO again or play entirely offline.

You could also get the family pack for NSO, and add your other account to it Instead of paying for another single NSO Itd be cheaper, IIRC

This is what I did for both my accounts... and then I got my roommates, my friend, and my mom to join the plan to make it even cheaper...

You can't directly trade between two profiles on the same Switch, but you can deposit your Pokemon into Pokemon Home from one profile and withdraw them on another. Once Home support for S/V is added, of course. I know it works for the gen 8 games.

It works for Let's go Eevee, Let's Go Pikachu, Legends Acerus, Brilliant Diamond, Shining Pearl, Sword, Shield and soon Scarlet and Violet. You'll be able to trade between yourself as much as you want once HOME connectivity is up and running.

Three Segmented Dundunsparce, he'll be my ground type since he learns lots of those moves and I'll probably make it he's Tera typing too. once HOME is up Delphox will replace Armourouge and my in game team will finally be complete.

I've been using a combo of Beat Up/Follow Me/Encore/U-Turn Maushold and Bulk Up/Rage Fist/Drain Punch/Ice Punch Anhillape in doubles.

Beat Up only hits 4 times, but that still boosts Rage Fist to 250 BP and only does about 6% of his HP.

It's a very strong one-turn setup.

Oh and for funsies I run dudunsparce with Rattled on the same set since it gives +4 speed in one turn lol.

Avoid all other raids but these if you are herb farming
Remember that if you don't find any of these on the map that you can either clear the raids yourself or you can simply go to the settings and change the date to spawn new raids, personally I perfer the lather rather than the former because some of those raids can be annoying bullshit like Gyarados

I think it's just that those raids guarantee Herba or have the highest drop rate... Because I've definitely gotten Herba from other 5-6 Star Raids...

Most 5 or 6 star raids can drop only 1 type of Herba in their drop table, but those mentioned in that chart have all 5 types of Herba in their drop tables. So not only can they drop all 5 types, but they drop them more often and can drop more of them in a single raid if you're lucky.

My shiny luck has been on fire, and now I've found a Flittle outbreak that'll be fun to roll for the week

She has 10 pokemon yet has a team of six meaning at least one of those pokemon she fights us with is one of her original teammates, I bet it's either the Oroworm or the Dundunsparce since she only has those when she takes us on for real

got a shiny Veluza and Spoink from a sandwich, and also a random shiny Orthworm to use as trade fodder.

Outbreaks are fun, I don't know who to target next, Thanks to the horrid weather I have all day to myself tomorrow so maybe I'll travel to the future for a Gallade raid or something since thanks to it's new ability it's gotten a lot stronger perhaps even stronger than it's mega form and speaking of megas, if you are among the few who still play Go Mega Gardevoir is coming next week

I was going to clear out a Shelder horde, but a shiny appeared after only about 30. So I caught it, then went for a Glimmet horde instead. Got a shiny from there, then tried to get a couple of shiny Rockruffs while the sandwich was still active. just got one, but that's fine.

so three shinies today.

I may have blown through my shiny luck for the rest of the month! All of these with the exception of Azumarill were caught today

Had to use a Dragon sandwich because those fucking swordfish were making a non sandwich hunt way to difficult to tolerate and shot over to area zero just to dick around with the 5 minutes it had left and I was lucky with Roaring Moon and GIbite
Everything else was outbreaks without sandwiches and running between outbreaks

I'm astounded, this is the most amount of shinies I've ever gotten in one day in a single pokemon game.

while running through to check raid spots, I found a random shiny Combee.

AND it's female. luckiest random find so far.

If I get off early from work tomorrow I'm gonna hunt for a Shiny Dusk form Lycanroc, that blue and white looks really good with those green eyes. Thinking of using a Great Ball on it since it matches up with the Red eyes in angry mode really well. But dammit, I have too many physical attackers on my main squad so this one will have to be on another team I make

About 20 hours in. Got 5 badges, done 4 titans, and 2 camps.

There's a surprisingly fun game underneath all the bugginess. Really makes me wish the devs had enough time to finish things, cuz man...when it starts raining and shit slows to like a solid 10fps I be sick.

Also, do I need to pay for online stuff for the Switch to evolve my Finizen? I read it needs something called a Union Circle or some such?

Union Circle is the multiplayer mode. You either need to be in the same vicinity of each other or purchase switch online and play over the internet.

However, Finizen's evolution can also be found in tera raid battles once you unlock 5-star raids, so you can wait for those to get its evolution.
