If you thought he had a cop scan it would make sense to claim miller right off the bat. Given that tracker died, and you're alleged prosty, a cop scan would be an obvious candidate.

If you thought he might have had a different kind of scan, you might have tried to hide miller in case it wasn't relevant to the scan.

It's standard meta. If you are a Miller, your entire role exists to give a Cop an incorrect result. Therefore, you claim at start of game so that Cop doesn't waste a scan on you.

So the reason I'm focused on this is because it feels like the kind of thing that a frantic person would write. Even with what Isquen said, it doesn't really make sense.

If Isquen prosty'd Plum and got the result back, he had enough time to think about it, and this somewhat nonsensical question would not be worded as is, or it would be more refined.

I just don't think it's an actual thought, an actual suspicion Isquen had. It doesn't make sense to me that it would. "Plum, who was one of many on Marth, felt that he was suspicious enough for pushing it that he chose to take an action"?

If you guys are actually going to let isquen retroactively claim Miller I am going to finally come to the conclusion that everyone is truly terrible at this game

Here are my thoughts on the game state for fun, pls feel free to reference at any point

Town
1. Abacus - I don't know if scum Abacus tunnels Isquen this hard D1 as his scumbuddy (assuming Isquen flips scum). Looks good from that lens.
3.Corrik - Do we question vig in this setup with a gambler? I'm inclined to believe it for now.
10.Plum - Cop. Ez.
5.Han - I find Han hard to read without a scum frame of reference but I don't think he tries to push ctes with (what I believe to be) an unconvincing argument as scum, and especially scumbuddies

Unsure
2.Ben - Unsure. Wasn't really around, but warned us he would be.
9.Lea - Seems very similar to last game, but I trust Lea to be this competent as scum. No real read.
11.Red - Red's incredibly hard to read but I obviously agreed with MZero pressure.

Scum
4.Ctes - Marth's pressure last day mostly came from SBell, plum, ctes, and Corrik. Given that SBell flipped town, I'm believing Corrik for now, and plum is confirmed town, do we really think that push was scum-free? While I appreciated his fire towards the end of day, I could see scum about to be lynched for frustrating reasons being equally frustrated.
6.isquen - Ez.
8.Lopen - I'm town, and Lopen trying to special me is sus. I won't be surprised if he comes in and doesn't like me for pushing MZero last day.

I looked at some things.

Biggest stand out at the moment is JC rolled the HanBall and Han chose JC as his special.

Second stand out, Isquen showed up to make a remark about last game and then peaced out. No one has make a remark about this.

If I go off of what you've looked at, Ben, then I say Lopen is the first Scum on that list of people who were on Corrik. Followed by Lea. And that seems pretty wrong to me.

I also would say that Corrik being Scum sort of destroys the argument.

Corrik was really laying into me at end of day, and if Corrik has that sort of energy, it doesn't take that much to help him push me. Especially if someone else pulls the trigger on providing this 'evidence'.

This is the logic that would push toward Corrik though - I get killed when Scum think it's better to not leave me alive. I get left alive when they see a better target for whatever reason, or think I'm lynchable, or am completely wrong, or don't respect me. And Corrik was the one member of Scum last game saying to not bother killing me, iirc.

It's a curious thought. my two ideas seem contradictory, so I'll have to think on it.

Well firstly, I don't see why not. Secondly, it reads like a stealth "I'm not on this guy's team post", but the frustration leaked out. Isquen would have not had enough time for any "Scum team leader" to walk him through what to claim, so Red saying that person sucks doesnt make any sense
