Nothing. Got my first job at 19

I was a NEET up until I turned 21. My first three years of adulthood were easily the worst years of my life.

Food court in college, got to start somewhere I guess.

Worked at Chipotle, was soul sucking and horrific

Jumped ship to Panera and stayed there for a couple years. Management was significantly better and outside of the Sunday christian crowd, the customers were kinder

I did full commission door to door sales for AT&T u-verse when it was first releasing. Worked 10 hours a day 6 days a week.

some weeks I made 2k some weeks I made legit $0. Way too much variability for how much hours I was putting in for it.

but I was young and dumb lol.

I got a job door to door canvassing for a charitable non-profit. I got so many doors slammed in my face, flipped the bird through the window or just plain non-response from people who were home (preferred), that I quit after the first shift. It's a horrible business model which seems to have died out. But I was a kid then ...

Just a warehouse job during University holidays. The work itself was pretty awful though it was fun making friends with other students working there.

oh ya, no shortage of wild stories lol. But for every time I had someone call the cops on me or talk shit I had a house wife in skimpy clothes or a cool couple who gave me shit (we called it rehashing). My buddy got like a 7k hot tub from some couple upgrading to a newer one, crazy and by far the best grab lol.

I was a rides operator at Kings Dominion, it was ok I was 2 years into working there and proceeded to work there another 3 years until I was fired.

I was a part-time receptionist for a local attorney. I essentially just minded the office after school so his real secretary could pick up her kids from school.

It was honestly a really nice job. My boss was nice (the real secretary was too) and it was fun to make money at a time where I had no real bills.

Worked at Shinders which was a Mn based comic book/collectible store for decades until the idiot nephew who inherited it basically burned the company to the ground.

Loved it very much. Best job I ever had tbh.

Walmart. Fucking awful.

Now I'm a high school teacher.

Worked at a movie theater. I liked working as an usher, not so much in concessions or ticket sales.

Helped out a bit in the projection booth as well, but only sparingly.

Worked at a bar at the Honolulu airport.

Night crew stocker at a grocery store... I hope I liked it because I'm still doing it 11 years later...

Worked at a supermarket doing shelf stacking/stock sorting/tills etc.

Was boring and easy.
