Is this cause for concern? Doc didnt say anything at the time of exam; I just read that on the internal notes he took.

I think heart murmurs are irregular heart flows. It could be just a one-off thing, or it could mean something is going on. I believe he added it to the notes to keep track of it, but didn't want to scare you if it's just nothing.

Heart murmurs are rated out of 6, with 1 being the lowest, least sever. I only know this because the vet claims my maltese terrier has a 3/6 murmur. I'm not gonna sit here and tell you how big of a deal it is, because I'm not gonna spread that kinda misinformation.
