Do you consider 27, 37, 47,etc to be "mid" or "late" decade?


So like, if someone is 27, are they in their mid or late 20s? Is 37 mid or late 30s? Is 47 mid or late 40s? Etc.

Just curious as to your opinions.

27 & 47 are late 20s/40s, 37 is mid-30s.

Cant explain why it just feels this way to me.

I guess late.

1-3 = early
4-6 = mid
7-9 = late

And being 20, 30, 40, etc. is just that age exactly, you wouldnt say you were in your 20s, 30s, or 40s. Same for the years/decades.

To me early is 0-3, mid is 4-6, and late is 7-9.

Counting 3 as early makes the whole thing feel unbalanced to me because the early part would be larger than the late part.
