They manipulate people to try to join their cause through silver tongue and half truths. One of the villains who was a victim of Moebius was given a choice, depicted by a fork in the road: walk his own path (left), or the path of Moebius (right). The writer said that the themes of XC3 are really a cautionary tale directed towards young adults with their whole life ahead of them.
